Originally from Chicago, Elena Miers is a passionate entertainment professional dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the world of entertainment. She is completing her Bachelor of Science in Media and Entertainment Industries with a minor in Social Media Management and Public Relations at Belmont University.

Elena’s passion for storytelling and representation began in Nashville with the Country Music Association, where she was selected as a Media and Communications Fellow. In that role, she addressed the entertainment industry’s growing need for professionals skilled in cultural competency and DEI, aligning with the evolving landscape of country music.

She also gained valuable experience in entertainment public relations at Big Machine Label Group, where she wrote press releases, monitored media coverage, and supported artist campaigns in a dynamic label environment. This experience strengthened her understanding of how media, culture, and audience connection work together to shape an artist’s story.

Most recently, Elena has been accepted into the Belmont USA: Belmont West Study Away Program in Los Angeles, where she will complete her senior year while fully relocating to continue her career in entertainment.
She is currently at Walt Disney Television, supporting Unscripted & Alternative Entertainment as a Temp Assistant to Scott Igoe, VP Alternative Series & Specials. In this role, she contributes across executive operations, programming, and creative development workflows spanning ABC Network, Hulu, and major live specials.

Throughout her journey, Elena has supported talent and production departments on some of the biggest stages in entertainment, including the GRAMMY Awards, CMA Fest, and the CMT Awards.
